There’s a quiet moment when a man realizes that waiting has a cost. That tomorrow isn’t promised and “later” is a gamble. Your health matters because your presence matters today. Your family, community, and purpose in life all depend on the choices you make right now.

This message was shared at a Men’s Health Seminar and includes a simple, practical handout you can use to start taking small steps right now.

Mental Health Check: How Are You Really Doing?

Mental health is often invisible but deeply affects every part of life. The first step is honest self-reflection. Ask yourself: What is one thing I’ve been carrying alone? This question opens the door to healing.

Try one small action this week:

  • Talk to someone you trust or a professional counselor

  • Prioritize rest and protect your sleep schedule

  • Create a stress management plan instead of relying on willpower alone

  • Practice peace through breathing exercises, journaling, or quiet time

These steps build resilience and reduce the burden of carrying stress silently.

Physical Health Check: Know Your Numbers

Many men avoid medical appointments, but knowing your health numbers is crucial. Write down your current stats or schedule a visit to get them:

  • Blood Pressure

  • A1C (blood sugar level)

  • Cholesterol

  • Weight

  • Cancer Screenings

  • Family health history notes

If you don’t know these numbers, book a primary care visit or screening soon. Tracking these helps catch issues early and guides lifestyle changes.

Spiritual Health Check: Stay Rooted

Spiritual health supports mental and emotional strength. Choose one practice to deepen:

  • Prayer

  • Reading scripture

  • Worship or meditation

  • Sabbath rest or dedicated downtime

Being strong means staying connected to your values and community, not going through life challenges alone.

Your 90-Day Intentional Living Plan

Commit to these four actions for the next three months:

  • One appointment I will schedule: ________

  • One lifestyle change I will make: ________

  • One brother I will check on: ________

  • One spiritual practice I will strengthen: ________

Writing these down makes your goals real and actionable.

For easy reference and to start your journey today, download the full handout below. It’s designed to guide you step-by-step through mental, physical, and spiritual check-ins plus the 90-day plan.
